The company is planning to open a new business centre in Sydney to support Melbourne Office. Your report will support in recruiting staff at Sydney office or transferring few of them from Melbourne. Your report must include current objective, values and standards as well as all ethical requirements for new/transferred staff. You have been invited in the board meeting for discussion where you have noted down following points which are useful to you for your report.
• The new Sydney office will be in line with company’s mission and vision to provide coffee machines which are within expectation of Cafes and restaurants’ efficiency, reliability and sustainability.
• The company is also planning to move majority of their import/export base to Sydney to maintain a constant growth in profits and market share. The management is also committed in increasing long term shareholder value.
• You were also hinted that the company is committed to maintain the ethical standards and promote high standards of code of conduct, honesty, integrity, fairness, and respect.
• Opening up of new office in Sydney would help in securing three year objective of being the number one volume importer in the market for imported espresso coffee machines. The largest market for this product in Australia is the Sydney market.
• With the savings on transport costs, bulk purchasing and the efficiencies in client machine maintenance would also assist the organisation in achieving the strategic objective of profit margin growth of 5% in the next three years.
• Increasing profit was a key value of the organisation because ZieTel earns profits every day through voluntary exchange with our customers and recognizes that profits are essential to creating capital for growth, prosperity, opportunity and job satisfaction and security.
• Innovative efficiencies in the imported machines and less interstate transport costs for staff and machines would assist the organisation in achieving its environmental objective of a reduction in its carbon footprint by 10% within the next three years.
• The company is committed to provide customers with high quality products, extraordinary service and a competitive price.
• The HR Manager has plans about creating a team of encouraged, motivated and self-directed employees at Sydney office. HR Manager is looking for employees who can meet regularly to discuss issues, solve problems and appreciate each others’ contributions.
