Research a minimum of three peer-reviewed articles in addition to information from your text on the disorder you chose in Week One

Elaborate on the Topic for Your Critical ReviewThis assignment will be a continuation of the written assignment from Week One. Research a minimum of three peer-reviewed articles in addition to information from your text on the disorder you chose in Week One. Consider the key classes of drugs used to treat the disorder you chose in Week One and explain their action at the neurotransmitter system involved in the disease process. Analyze and describe the agonist-antagonist activity of the drugs and the receptor types and subtypes involved in the disorder. Elaborate on the receptor agonist-antagonist actions of the drugs and describe the most common side effects seen with these drugs. Evaluate the risk-benefits of drug use for this disorder. The paper:

research methods course. Create a PowerPoint presentation that explains  how you would ‘teach’ the concepts you have learned regarding how to  describe data presentation for both descriptive and correlation designs.

For this task, imagine that you were asked to present to a class of  master’s level students who are enrolled in their first quantitative  research methods course. Create a PowerPoint presentation that explains  how you would ‘teach’ the concepts you have learned regarding how to  describe data presentation for both descriptive and correlation designs.
Be sure to include the following in your presentation:
An overview of both descriptive and correlational designs.
An explanation of how data are presented regarding each design.
Note the strengths and limitations of each design.
Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well  as “speaker notes” for each slide. The speaker notes may be comprised  of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists.
Support your presentation with at least five scholarly resources. In  addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly  resources may be included.
Length: 12-15 slides (with a separate title and reference slide)
Notes Length: 200-350 words for each slide
Be sure to include citations for quotations and paraphrases with references in APA format and style where appropriate.

First, complete the readings in this unit related to early adulthood, including intimate relationships, adjustment to marriage, decisions related to childbearing, and all aspects of life in this phase of development.

This discussion is designed to help you use what you have learned in this unit to help prepare for the Unit 8 assignment, Psychosocial Development Case Study Assessment. First, complete the readings in this unit related to early adulthood, including intimate relationships, adjustment to marriage, decisions related to childbearing, and all aspects of life in this phase of development. Then, review the case study at the beginning of Chapter 11 of your text (the case begins on page 418).
What are some of the challenges that this individual is facing? Knowing these challenges associated with trajectories and transitions outlined in the text, evaluate the developmental crisis and implications for an individual facing the psychosocial crisis of intimacy versus isolation.
Cite at least two references from the unit readings to support your work.

Gender Differences in Aggression

1. Discuss how each perspective would explain this relationship.
2. Out of the four perspectives, share which one you believe has the best explanatory power for explaining why there is a gender difference in aggression.
3. Discuss at least three assumptions that this perspective would make in explaining this relationship.
Provide at least two scholarly references and cite appropriately.

Assignment – Week 6

Application: Interventions
Treatment options for children and adolescent trauma survivors can include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and crisis management to reduce anxiety, worry, and fear of repeated trauma. Play therapy is an effective method often used with young children with posttraumatic stress disorder because they often have difficulty dealing with trauma directly. Cases in which a child or adolescent is acting out sexually in response to a sexual trauma or in which he or she may be using drugs or alcohol as a coping mechanism as a result of trauma often require additional treatments modalities.
For this Application Assignment, review the media Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder: A Discussion With John Sommers-Flanagan and Eliana Gil. Consider the symptomology of PTSD and how trauma can affect children and adolescents. Then, select a different type of childhood or adolescent trauma from the one you selected for the Discussion. Consider the posttraumatic stress symptoms that are likely to occur and what type of treatment interventions you might use to treat the child or adolescent. Also, think about how you might support or educate parents or guardians as they attempt to support their child or adolescent.
The assignment (2–3 pages):
· Describe a major trauma or event that may occur to children and/or adolescents.
· Describe three potential symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder that may occur as a result of the major trauma or event, and explain why these symptoms may occur.
· Describe one intervention you might use in treating this type of trauma.
· Justify the selection of your intervention using the Learning Resources and current literature.
· Explain two ways you might educate or support the parents/guardians as they help their child or adolescent through the trauma. Be specific.
Support your Application Assignment with specific references to all resources used in its preparation. You are asked to provide a reference list for all resources, including those in the Learning Resources for this course.
